We produced a 20 module health, safety & environmental foundation course for all PepsiCo contractor workers. This involved creating the content, filming, animation and narration and is aimed at the core risks across all UK sites, Walkers Crisps, Quaker Oats.
Approximately 900 contractor companies across the Globe who visit PepsiCo UK sites are required to complete this robust and detailed training annually, and this training is available and used 24/7 and 365 days per year.
The training is delivered via our secure bespoke e-learning platform and administered via our learning management admin system. Over 900 contractor companies with over 7000 workers use this system. The system sends email training reminders weekly to all contractor company administrators and this allows them to ensure that all of their workers are up to date before going onto any PepsiCo site to work.
Our electronic permit to work system integrates seamlessly with this training platform ensuring all workers on-sites are completely trained at all times.
Heineken use our games across the UK for various themed roadshows and training events.

The Hays Construction App allows the H&S team to send safety alerts and important information directly to the app users.

“I take this opportunity to say it has been a great pleasure working with you Rick. I see this as a great tool to engage our workers on the sensitive topic of Health & Safety. I believe adding this tool to the usual policy / procedure review will have a great impact on safety behaviour in the long run.
Making the learning / training process fun. I have used these interactive games for the past two Annual Safety Days with great success. We broke the attendees into teams and they competed against other teams for the price.
They were engaged, they were motivated and at the end of the day – they learned something. I am now looking at using this as a tool for departmental safety meetings to review worker’s knowledge on general health & safety as well as specific topics such as confined space entry or lock-out / tag-out. Last week, I used one game to test a new hire on general safety using Spot the Hazard – South Bottle Shop. It certainly broke the monotony of safety orientation. I look forward to other opportunities in the future.”

“Play-It-Safe’s iAudit application is an excellent tool to document and manage our monthly health and safety inspections.
The convenience of using portable Apple devices to record issues, including a picture, makes identifying, understanding and resolving the issues much more efficient.
Inspection issues are automatically synced over WiFi and consolidated in the OMS allowing us to communicate issues quickly and consistently, hastening the call for action and resolution. We look forward to using the other features available on the OMS.

“We feel the games had a positive impact on our safety campaign over the past year to which we achieved our goals to reduce our frequency of injuries on board to within our KPI”
