"The play it safe food was a great tool for engaging all employees in how behaviours can impact on quality & food safety onsite. The fact that we were able to bespoke this to our specific business risks made the message much more powerful and was which enabled us to deliver training which really brought this to life for the teams. It was also a fun and enjoyable way to deliver such an important message and enabled us to do it so that is memorable.

"The Play It Safe game was a great way to reinforce our safety culture using familiar scenarios and fellow employees. We introduced it during our bi annual E.H.S.Day but will be putting it to good use as a valuable training aid proving that learning about the Environment, Health and Safety can be fun.

The safety game is an excellent medium for training people in health & safety. Teams who have taken part have found it informative and interesting and have gone away with a better appreciation of the subject. Even the most negative people have been won over by the game.

“The computer based Play it Safe game is a real enjoyable game and a great tool to make safety more fun. It can be part of the regular training / refreshment program and it can be used as part of an induction program for new workers. People play the game and learn how important behavioural safety is in the daily job. Trainees enjoy their time due to the competitive element of the game. Final they are all winners.”

paperlinx

Having made significant improvements towards the reduction of accidents and incidents within the workplace, PaperlinX (UK and Ireland) were keen to source a behavioural programme that would have a positive impact on our employees’ attitude to health and safety and which could further our progress towards our ultimate aim of “zero accidents”. In line with the Company’s Strategic Priorities, our objective was to influence our employees’ behaviour with a constructive behavioural training programme that was not just a “tick and flick” observation exercise. The Play it Safe animated software and board game offers an alternative means of “getting the message across” with the added bonus of allowing personalisation of scenarios relevant to our business. Play it Safe also provides flexibility to select different subjects and question sets depending on the intended audience. The PaperlinX senior management team fully support this initiative and are confident that once implemented the programme will have a positive impact on our accident incident performance.
