Welcome to “Play it Safe”

Let’s face it, health and safety training can sometimes be hard going for employees. Surprising and astonishing don't you think, when it is a legal requirement aimed at protecting everyone in the workplace. With “Play it Safe”, we can capture through engaging, competitive and participative training our trainee audience and retain their concentration and ownership throughout the many activities in the games. The game is unique, and a new way in which trainers/facilitators can inform and educate employees. With the new flexible, highly innovative and easy to use training aid “Play it Safe” we can aim for continued improvement in health & safety awareness and thus continue to drive down the numbers of workplace accidents, incidents and cases of work related ill health. “Play it Safe” is suitable for absolutely any type of business whether small or large. It is also used in colleges and universities to great success. Wherever there is a need for health and safety training, “Play it Safe” can be utilised with much success.

Choice of three modes

Full Game - Divided into two teams, each team takes turns to advance around the board playing mini-games and activities until they reach the end of the game. Mini Games will add points to each team and at the end of the game a totaliser will tell you which team has won. But if you feel as though one team deserves more then you can give or take away points at any part of the game. A Full game will take a minimum one and a half hours, but you have control so it can last longer.

Short Game - A Short Game can be played by smaller teams or single players, and lasts typically around half an hour.

Quick Play - Only have 10 minutes and want to get straight into the action? Quick play will let you play all the mini-games. Ideal for safety awareness days, meetings and short training sessions.

Add your own documents

So what if you already have documents that you use for Health & Safety training? No Problem! Simply drag them to the files folder and Play it Safe will let you launch them from within the game. Select the file from a drop-down list and Play it Safe will open that file for you with its associated application.
